My name is Viara, which, translated into English, means “faith”. I believe strongly in the healing, restorative and relaxing power of bodywork. I work intuitively with kindness, respect and awareness for your body. I work with you, not on you - Thai massage is a dance of mutual responsiveness.
I have turned to massage throughout my life because of its effectiveness to heal from colds to depression, to restore the balance in my organs and systems, the mobility in my stiff joints to truly relaxing my mind and body.
My passion for Thai Yoga massage began the first time I experienced it. I knew I had come across something special and that I wanted to learn and practise it myself. I find it to be truly holistic, improving not only the condition of the muscles, joints and tendons but also the mind and the energy circulation.
I have been practising yoga for over 18 years. I understand how bodies move and operate. I am fascinated with the complexity of our beings. I have experienced and continue to experience the benefits and effects of massage and touch personally.
I studied Traditional Thai Yoga Massage with Kira Balaskas (one of the first westerners to popularise this massage outside Thailand) and Dynamic Osteo Thai with Cosmo School of Thai massage.
I would love to share my passion for this art with you.
